Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Management of Information Technology provides professionals with an opportunity to advance their level of competence in the management and applications of computing and information technology through formal training. 

The program is 100% online and designed to be flexible for working professionals hoping to continue their education. 

The Certificate in Management of Information Technology can be completed in as little as 1 semester if enrolled full-time, and 2-3 semesters if enrolled part-time.

Coursework towards this graduate cerificate can be used for credit towards the M.S. in Information Technology. However, its primary objective is to provide a well-defined target for students who want to advance their knowledge and skills in applying and managing information technology, but do not necessarily wish to complete all the requirements for the M.S. in Information Technology. The certificate may be pursued concurrently with any of the graduate degree programs at UNC Charlotte.
