The Advanced Literacy Instruction & Intervention Certificate provides K-12 teachers with skills in using data and current research on literacy to design and implement classroom literacy instruction and interventions. This is a 12-hour certificate program that focuses on helping teachers enhance literacy outcomes for diverse learners.
The ALII Certificate immerses students in research-based literacy instruction for K-12 students with a focus on meeting the needs of students who struggle with reading and writing. Students in the certificate take coursework in early literacy or adolescent literacy, depending on their interests and needs, and coursework on English learners, K-12 writing and literacy assessment.
