IST Program achieves second quality matters certification
   January 23, 2019
The Master of Education Degree and the Graduate Certificate in Instructional Systems Technology (IST) at UNC Charlotte are designed for those who wish to hold instructional design and technology positions in the areas of K-12 and higher education and corporate, government, and military training and human performance improvement. The program offers three concentrations: School Specialist, Training and Development, and Online Learning and Teaching.

Mom and daughter graduate together
   May 16, 2016
Candace Yow, 46 and her daughter Samantha Whitley, 21 graduated together from UNC Charlotte along with thousands of other 49ers on Friday, May 13, 2016. Yow received her bachelor of science in respiratory therapy and Whitley her bachelor of science in nursing.

Dr. Florence Martin, director of the Instructional Systems Technology program, will receive the 2015 Crystal Award from the Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT) Division of Distance Learning in Indianapolis on November 6th.
